Thomas E. Kozlowski

Thomas E. Kozlowski, 88 years old of Brocton, New York passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday morning, February 4, 2018.

Tom was born in Dunkirk, New York on April 21, 1929 and was the son of the late Edward and Theresa Marczynski Kozlowski. He lived in this area his entire life. He graduated from the Dunkirk City School District and had worked as Head Custodian at SUNY Fredonia until his retirement in 1992. Tom had also formerly worked in his younger days at Alco of Dunkirk from 1948 to 1962, for Struther Wells of Warren, Pa. and Allegheny Ludlum Steel for five years. Tom also worked for the Buffalo Bills organization in the Security Department during their training camps in Fredonia, New York He was a Brocton Village Trustee from 19701972 and 19971998. Tom belonged to the Brocton Fire Department and was a member of the Moniuszko Club of Dunkirk, New York. He was also a member of St. Dominic’s (formerly St. Patrick’s) Roman Catholic Church of Brocton New York. Besides his family Tom loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed doing woodworking for Lake Erie State Park. Tom also loved to read.

He is survived one daughter Sandra (Art) Miller of Brocton, New York, David ( Koz) (Susan) Kozlowski of Brocton, New York and Michael (Koz) (Cindy) Kozlowski of Fredonia, New York. Five Grandchildren Shannon (Phillip) Wright, Amy (David) Frost, Denise (Ben) Farnsworth, Mathew (Rose) Kozlowski, Arthur (Kim) Miller Jr. and nine great-grandchildren Casey (Jen) Miller, Noah Wright, Jacob Miller, Nathan Miller , Hunter Kozlowski, Lily Joyce Kozlowski, Thomas Farnsworth, Davey Frost and Alex Farnsworth and companion Lorraine Gugino also survive.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Joyce Kozlowski, whom he married in July 29, 1950 and who passed away in March 21, 2001

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from at 10 a.m. from the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton, New York, The Rev Dennis Riter will officiate. Interment will follow at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the Funeral Services at The Brocton American Legion John W Dill Post 434, 110 West Main St., Brocton, New York. Friends and family are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton, New York from 24 and 68 on Friday, February 9, 2018.
