Leonard “Goaty” Kozlowski, 86 of Zephyrhills, Florida formally of Dunkirk, NY passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018.
He was born August 3, 1931 in Dunkirk, NY. The son of the late Andrew and Belle (Krystofiak) Kozlowski. He was a graduate of Dunkirk High School in 1949.
He worked at Great Lakes Color Printing for 30 years until the plant closed. He then worked for Cliffstar until he retired in 1996 and move to Zephyrhills, Fl for the winter months. He spent his summer months at their camper in North East, PA., until moving permanently to Florida.
Leonard served 4 years in the Navy Air Force Branch. He was a life member of the First Ward Falcons Club.
Survivors include his wife Corinne (Pokoj) Kozlowski whom he married February 4, 1956 at St. Mary’s Church, 4 children; Kim (Ken) Ludwiszewski, Lori (Michael) Mleczko, Dwayne (Janet) Kozlowski all of Dunkirk, and Dale (Laurie) Kozlowski of Ripley, NY, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Peter, Edmund and Felix (Boo) and sisters Genevieve of Dunkirk and Clara Bajdas of Cheektowaga.
A Memorial Mass will be held this summer. Details will be forthcoming.
