Gretchen Elaine Francisco
Gretchen Elaine Francisco, passed away August 8, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer and alzheimer’s. She was born on October 10, 1945 in Westfield, New York to Jack and Elaine Caldwell and married Theodore LaVaughn Francisco September 12, 1964 in Ripley, New York. Gretchen moved to Ros-well, New Mexico where she resided for twenty years until moving back to be with family. Gretchen managed the Harley Davidson Shop in Roswell, N.M. She enjoyed dancing, walking, gardening, her dogs, cooking and NASCAR; Dale Jr. was her driver. Gretchen was a huge sup-porter against breast cancer and alzheimer’s. She participated in many walks and fundraisers and always willing to help a lending hand.Gretchen is survived by a brother John Caldwell; three daughters: Mimi (Jeff) Francisco, Michelle Francisco and Jacqueline Francisco, all of Mayville, New York; seven grandchildren: Alicia Abbey, Austin Albanesius, Ashton (Cody) Albanesius, Tim (Jamie) Johnson, Garrett Francisco, Ted Francisco and Maggie Rowicki; three great grandchildren: Charlotte Bird, Norah and Connor Johnson.In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by a brother Gary Caldwell. “The family would like to thank everyone at Hospice for their compassionate care they gave Gretchen.”Calls may be made Sun-day 2-4 pm at LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, New York where a funeral service will follow at 4 pm.
