Doris J. Pacos

Doris J. Pacos, of Fredonia, N.Y. and North Fort Myers, Fl., died unexpectedly on Saturday September 8, 2018. She was born on Chautauqua Road in Fredonia, N.Y. on February 21, 1929 to David and Bertha (Kuropatwinski) Frankowiak. She was 89 years old.Doris attended Brocton Central School. She worked in many places including Card’s restaurant and the A&P as head cashier until she retired. She continued to cook for many restaurants until 1989, when she and Paul officially retired and began spending their winters in North Fort Myers, FL. In 1948, Doris married Paul Pacos and resided on Chautauqua Rd. where they began a thriving grape and beef cattle farm. Doris is survived by three children: Mary Ellen (Peter) Epolito, Andrew (Linda) Pacos, and Paulette (James) Wright. “Busha” is survived by 10 grandchildren: Ronda Powell, Paula Epolito, Brenn (Chad) Brant, James (Debbie) Wright Jr, Danielle Epolito, Stacy (Ralph) Wright, Andrew (Jennifer) Pacos II, Jessica (Cassidy), Gary Epolito II and Paul Pacos. “Great Busha”, is also survived by

10 great-grandchildren; Pam Powell, Karlie Johnson, Jamie Wright, Camille Epolito, Tyler Pacos, Ryan Mendez, Jada Wright, Ella Pacos, Nicholas Brandt, Addison Brandt and twins Declyn and Austin Cassidy and great,great grandson Rocco. In addition, she is also survived by six sisters: Betty Miller, Rose Essex, Pauline Crowell, Patricia Polley, Barbara Kulig and Frances (Molly) Franskowiak.Besides her parents and husband Paul, She was preceded in death by her bother Thomas Franskowiak and sisters: Josephine Klaybor and Mary Ortolano.Doris was an avid bingo and card player. Other hobbies include quilting, bowling and cooking. Memberships include: American Legion Post 59 Auxiliary, St. Joseph’s Church parish and Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and St. Francis Xavier Church (FL).A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, September14, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Church, 145 E. Main Street, Fredonia, with the Reverend Joseph Walter officiating. (Please assemble at Church and please
