MAYVILLE — Christopher “Chris” Stephen Elliott, 55, of Mayville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at his home in Mayville.He was born April 23, 1963 in Westfield, NY, the son of Stephen N. Elliott, and the late Marilyn Winchester Elliott. Chris was the President of Camelot Golf, Chautauqua Point Golf Course in Dewittville, and Property Manager of Bemus Point Condo Association.He was a 1981 graduate of Mayville Central School and a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, The Mayville American Legion William L. Travis Post 493, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mayville where he was a previous acolyte, the James-town War Vets, a past member of the Village of Mayville Planning Board, and a life member of the Mayville Fire Department.Chris’s true passions in life were his two daughters and the sport of golf. He also enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, and time with his family.He is survived by his two daughters; Kirsten Elliott of Colorado Springs, CO, and Corinne Elliott of Mayville, his father; Stephen N. Elliott of Mayville, one sister; Mary (James) Bradford, of Dewittville, his companion and “Queen” ; Sheri Fowler and her son Jackson, of Falconer, one niece; Audrey (Nathan) Griewisch, one great niece; Delaney Griewisch, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, special friends; Jim Weidman and Rae Bollman, and his loyal black lab; Duke.Chris was preceded in death by his mother; Marilyn Winchester Elliott.The funeral will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mayville (99 South Erie Street). Father Richard Elberfeld will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery. Following the funeral there will be a luncheon held at the Mayville American Legion Post 493
