An option against more of same

Editor, OBSERVER:

In regard to the “Commentary” headlined “Trump factor of fear” (June 29), I say that “Islamic terrorists” do not need help “exacerbating the fears and anxieties” of the American voter as they have accomplished it by themselves and Donald Trump only points out what they do.

“Voter remorse” in the United Kingdom is from the same people who didn’t want to leave the E.U. in the first place.

The “change” that Hillary Clinton wants appears to be a continuation of President Obama’s policies and we know what havoc that brought. Where are we in the world’s eyes compared to before Obama was elected?

The British who voted to get out of the E.U. are disgusted with their “illegal immigration” policy as most Americans are with our “open borders” policy.

I know we don’t want Islamic terrorists coming here but we are unable to find out who the refugees are – so put a temporary stop on people from certain countries until we find out who they are.

Just ask the FBI if we can vet them now.

I think Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again” is right on and we should all want that.

Whether Trump is using a teleprompter or speaking “off the cuff” – we all know what he means. If he can accomplish only some of what he wants, I will be happy and relieved.

Mexico will pay for our southern border security – not in cash – but by the U.S. getting our industries and jobs back from Mexico and our economy improves.

I say Trump only wants “Fair Trade” in commerce. For instance – foreign countries can sell their products in the U.S., but put obstacles in the way of U.S. industries. TRUMP may have his clothing made in foreign countries, but have you tried to buy clothes made in the U.S.? Hardly anything is made here.

The British who have “remorse” and want a re-vote are those who want to be governed by outsiders in Brussels, Belgium. Have you listened to Obama when he talks so glowingly about the U.N. dictators?
