Summer readers benefit from support

Editor, OBSERVER:

The Anderson-Lee Library in Silver Creek is deeply grateful to the following businesses and individuals, who through donations and gifts helped our library offer a fun, educational, and rewarding summer reading experience.

These groups include: Friends of Anderson-Lee Library, Derico of East Amherst Corp (McDonald’s), Gallivan’s Floor Sanding, Shevlin’s Auto Tech, McF Livestock, Just Pets, AMVETS, Quinn Kay, Food King, Community Bank, Riles and Woolley, Inc., Nancy L. Sadeghian, R.W Larson Motors and Valvo’s Candy.

This summer our readers earned free books, worked on a community mosaic poster, attended special programs, and enjoyed an end of summer reading party with Mike Randall and Friends. More than 60 people attended this celebration and enjoyed roasted hot dogs and ice cream as well! The summer reading theme of “Libraries Rock!” was certainly evident this summer in Silver Creek thanks to you and your support!
