A $17,000 endowment was recently presented to the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation to establish the Anna G. Hall Scholarship by the WIMODAUSIS Club. Each year, two scholarships will be given to two Fredonia Central School seniors who are planning to become teachers. Anna Hall was a beloved teacher at the Eagle Street School for more than 40 years. Her generosity to unfortunate children, of food and clothing, was well-known and appreciated. Miss Hall, a long-time member of the WIMODAUSIS Club, made the club beneficiary of a very generous gift, hoping they would continue her good works.

In conformity with the new liturgy of the church, the altar is of simple design and built in the style of the Last Supper. The altar is a gift from Miss Dolores Egloff, in memory of the Joseph A. Egloff family.
