Waterfront hopes high

The Boardwalk Market, which boasts eight shops, will hold its grand opening from 5 to 9 p.m. The hope is the market will increase foot traffic around the waterfront area.

That, ultimately, is good news for all those who have already invested in an area that has taken far too long in developing.

Other city events are also planned, including a number of Music at the Pier events throughout the summer. Here's hoping for a successful debut on May 15.
