I shouldn't respond to idiocy but I will. It's not about racism, it's about ideology. To look at it from a prismatic view, read "The rise and fall of the third reich, by: William Shirer. People are upset because Gov't has involved themselves with peoples lives thinking they are more wiser, smarter and better to understand what is best for them while maintaining power. No my friend, it's not racism; unless you're a racist, I don't know you and not certain of your ideology so I can't ascertain that. All I can look at is who the man is by his biography, what he did as a young man and who molded him, who he looked upto, admired as it were. To this day he has not faltered in his comradeship with his past. No, it's not racism, I do know though, that every time the left fails to materialize answers they use the race card; it used to work but not anymore, too much use of it to have any meaning. Ok - I guess I have to say it! Would there be as much hatred for Obama if he was white? Where is the respect for the man who was elected by a vast majority to be our president and the leader of the free world? Obama kept the country out of a depression, saved the auto industry, killed Bin Laden, restored respect for America around the world. When Obama took office he was handed the biggest mess in American history. In spite of this the right wing extremists have nothing to offer but hatred, propaganda and racism. Do any of you right wingers care about the future of our country or is your only interest getting the white house back for Republicans. Do any of you care about the country you are going to hand to our children and grandchildren or is politics more important? Our country is far from being perfect and I will criticize Obama when I think he is wrong but I will do it without racism and political objectives.

First all, you could not refute Obamas list of crony Socialist,Communist, back slapping pals; from that point, yes a dogmatist I am, simple reasoning is: you have not given one iota of wrong information regarding your Messiah to which I alluded.

BEREAL- I answered your diatribe in the best way that I know how. Just because I didn't answer you point by point simply means that I have a life beyond arguing with dogmatists. But, facts can be spun as you stated, the only difference now, in comparison with our POTUS and his relationships, is: it's not spun, it's just fact. Now, if you would indulge me and give me refutable proof of stated facts I am more than willing to listen and have dialogue. As far as I can tell, these are the truths until someone, anyone, can point to the opposite.

I understand, Obama has a way about him that attracts people, a certain charisma, a well polished speaker. That's his charm, our downfall, like the carnival hawker who pulls you in for a scam. But, our focus should not be of him, for we know who and what he is and what his ideologies are. The focus should be on this nations debacle and how we, the voters need to take back our responsibilites that we let the Politicians have, the ones that have turned sections of our populace into subservient drones.

"Facts" are funny things. You can go to different sites and see different "facts" about the same event. "Facts" can be cherry picked, exaggerated, expanded out of all proportion and spun to fit any ideology or hyperbolic belief. People on both sides of the aisle do it in politics. Its done in religion and even science, although good science usually sticks to the real facts as determined by empirical data and reason. Point is BEREAL, you spin well to accommodate your beliefs. And, you know what, we all do. All I can say is, in whatever you do, look for the truth as you are gathering your facts. Don't restrict yourself to looking at things with a dogmatic pair of lenses. Profit is a good thing when it is done in a legally and ethically manner. However, when we are robbed, deceived by lies, it is called Grand Theft, and those who did it should be brought to justice. Although what you cite may have contributed to the crisis it by far is not alone what caused it. Have you investigated the crisis from any source other than Fox News or the right wing publications? Do you understand Glass Segall act, why it was enacted and when it was repealed? (oh yes BOTH parties are in on it) Did you know that one of them, I think Goldman Sachs, did a double whammy. They not only sold toxic loans as AAA+++ investments, but knowing they would fail, took out an insurance policy on them. Double win for those crooks. Have you seen what many of the banks did with their bail out money (that came from BUSH as we all know)..gave bonus out to CEO and other staff...and then RAISED rates for consumers. Wall St got bailed out We got SOLD out..protesters know that.

History is full of stories of civilizations that self-destructed because of greed. It's not just Wall Street. Every time an American worker demands higher wages or better benefits for doing the same amount of work, he is demonstrating greed and contributing to job elimination. Maybe the best illustration of greed is professional athletes, making millions each year, they have the nerve to go on strike for better pay and benefits. There is greed at the gas pumps as oil prices decline but gas prices remain high. There is greed throughout our society and it may be inherent in our democratic system where we may have had it too good for too long.
