On Friday, area veterans were saluted in the town of Dunkirk.

During a luncheon at the Chautauqua County Home, residents there who were veterans were recognized in honor roll fashion by activities director Linda Chase.

The event also featured two speakers: Master Sgt. Brian Schneider of the U.S. Marines and Fredonia Mayor Stephen Keefe. Click on the link at right to hear their statements.
