Audit amnesia

November 29, 2012 - John D'Agostino
That audit recently done by the state comptroller questioning the $1 million of spending in the city was a big deal two to three years ago, Dunkirk.

Many residents here seem to forget most of the issues touched on in the report — including more than $700,000 in land purchases — were covered by this newspaper when they took place from 2009 to 2010. It's just very convenient for the current administration — and Democrats and other then-disinterested residents — to say only now how shocked they are over these developments that happened right in front of their eyes.

On Nov. 19, I was a guest with Dave Rowley on "Viewpoint." Click on the link to hear some of my thoughts regarding the bigger problems than the audit and the other link for previous "Viewpoint" shows on WDOE-AM.
