| | Plowing through the concernsNovember 21, 2008 - John D'AgostinoWell our first blast of winter in Dunkirk-Fredonia came with no surprise: many residents are complaining about the plowing of roads in the city and village. And rightfully so. Our Village Board and Common Council members continue to increase taxes because, they truly believe, our area would rather pay for more services than face cuts. Well guess what? Plowing is one of those services we pay for. So ... roads should be plowed, especially the main thoroughfares, before the sun rises at 7:30 a.m.
