Lake Shore Savings has always been known for giving back to the community and knowing that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the staff there decided to GO PINK for the cause. Employees at Lake Shore Savings Bank dressed in pink shirts all for the month of October to help raise awareness and donated a check for $500 to the Brooks Memorial Hospital Women’s Imaging Center. “We were really hoping to keep the donation local and when we spoke to Desiree at the hospital, we decided that The Women’s Imaging Center was the perfect choice for the funds,” said LSSB Special Events Planner Stephanie Pulvino. “The Brooks Center is a wonderful, calm, and peaceful setting for women to go and get their exams done, and they have the only digital mammography system in Chautauqua County. Women need to make sure that they get their annual mammograms done and having a wonderful place like this right here in our hospital is fantastic.
