Editor, OBSERVER: I read on Page A5 of this newspaper (July 7), one resident wants to have more sheriff patrols at Sunset Bay. Talk to Chautauqua County Executive Greg Edwards. He wants to cut the number of sheriff patrols and this resident wants more patrols. Maybe the resident and Edwards can patrol Sunset Bay. I will buy the paint and brush and paint “patrol” on his and Edwards’ car. Then Sheriff Joe Gerace can keep his patrols on the road catching lawbreakers and those driving while intoxicated. LAROY C.
