Schumer announces internship opportunities at Buffalo office BUFFALO — Senator Charles E. Schumer has announced he is seeking interns for his Western New York Office in downtown Buffalo for the fall semester of 2008. Senator Schumer is seeking college students and recent graduates to apply for internships during the spring session. The non-paid internships are geared to college students and recent grads with an interest in communication, law, politics, urban planning, and related fields. Internship duties will include press monitoring, event preparation, constituent services, and local issue research.
