2012 had its highs and lows

Any columnist worth his salt would take a look back at 2012 and review the major events of the year. So being worth no more than a saltine, here it goes....

I think Nin is Steiner's alter ego. They think the same but Nin's writing is a little clearer, little being the operative word. Substantively speaking, Steiner is a right-wing-nut-job as is Nin. The difference is Steiner is up-front about it and Nin tries to make it less obvious by using intellectual humor. Unfortunately his humor isn't humorous and his intellectual writing isn't intelligent. Oh well, the life of a "columnist."

Funny article and closed with a great comment on the modern woman activist. She needed birth control . So it seems that the women have slipped some since madame Curie, who did all her great work before womens rights had a chance to show how inadequate it is. Thank you Curie. A forgotten example of what a woman can do .
