I thought I'd try a new topic, but here--sad to say--is the usual cast of Obama haters spewing their paranoid vile-even though the original letter has nothing to do with guns. It seems fair to conclude that these social misfits have nothing better to do with their time than to complain about the American way. I won't monitor comments, so don't waste your words are you are you're life.

Robert, or as I shall call you until you can at least have the courtesy of mutual respect, Bobbie. Bobbie, the weakening of the 2nd amendment is the start. I have attempted to put this information in several analogies for your mind to grasp. It hasn't worked. I did not say they were coming for the guns now, I said it is a start to what Obama and Feinstein have said all along. They want zero weapons in the hands of civilian citizens. But Bobbie, apparently you don't understand anything unless it comes from your dear leaders mouth or one of his cronies. Like a cackling hen, you run around deriding anyone with a different opinion. I am of the opinion you must have been abused as a youth. Incapable of discussion, only of hearing someone agree with you or it's time to attempt to show your verbal superiority. You failed Bobbie, miserably. But please do keep trying, it is amusing for the adults.

Judeye, I though the stimulus was suppose to do all this: created thousands and thousands of jobs for Americans, helped our veterans, and address our crumbling infrastructure. Jobs bill...what a farce.

What jobs bill? You mean those shovel ready ones that the taxpayers pay for. The short term ones. The ones that only make him look good and really don't help in the long run. You mean those non permanent ones that Obama has suckered you into thinking they will work, much like his useless healthcare insurance tax? Is that what you refer to?

DarkStar..look up legal opinions on whether the President has the CONSTITUTIONAL authority to pay the debts of this Country.

Most agree that he does for the reasons I cited.

hadenough..oh you mean like passing his Jobs Bill? The one that would have helped created thousands and thousands of jobs for Americans, helped our veterans, and address our crumbling infrastructure.

...Oh..never mind, Congress in caving in to Pres Obama would not even permit that bill to come to the floor for discussion and debate. They were more concerned with bills addressing women's right to choose and repealing Obamacare than JOBS FOR AMERICANS.

Fire them...everyone of them who is wasting time on silly social bills rather than the number one priority of the people of this country...JOBS.

Term limits are needed" yes indeed, I think the tea party ran on that in 2010 didn't they? Haven't heard a word about it from them since. Kinda like "its all about jobs" nothing on that front from the right either. Its easier to just keep people riled up about the constitution and take back our country than to actually do what they are paid to do.

"Twenty youngsters killed by a psychopath is reason to change the Constitution" I must of missed that one Mikey, who is trying to change the constitution? That would require the government taking away all our arms correct? I haven't heard anyone saying that Mike, great radical right talking point thought...untrue but still, keep repeating it. someone will believe it, someone gullible but oh well.

Let's do a little comparison study. Killing thousands of unborn children a month is fine. Twenty youngsters killed by a psychopath is reason to change the Constitution. Not agreeing with liberal opinion is good enough to be barred from ones 1st amendment rights. I don't think misogyny is an exclusive to conservatives trait. There seems to be a few liberal politicians that have been put out of office for their misdeeds also. As usual Robert you can't have a discussion without personally attacking someone, why is that?

really Robert. If you don't agree with someone block them from having a voice. Or if they have a different opinion say it's because they are white. Isn't that a little racist? You really have no idea how to have a discussion without insults or threats to block the opinion of others, do you?

There has not been a budget in the past four years people. The money being spent has been by continuing resolution! The Senate is supposed to propose a budget but has not been able to do so because of democratic opposition within the senate. By the way is someone twisting the Presidents arm to get him to sign off on the resolutions? Both sides of the aisle are to blame because the money being spent is not from their pocket! That is the simple truth. Term limits are needed. Congress should convene only a couple times a year for a couple of weeks.(unless a national emergency occurs) The rest of the time they should be at home working like the rest of us.

Captain...not so sure about that. Many legal scholars think that he indeed does not only have the power to raise the debt ceiling..but might even have an obligation to do so if the Congress fails to do it.

some use the 14th amendment to justify it....some use the concept of 'the necessities of state, and on the president’s role as the ultimate guardian of the constitutional order, charged with taking care that the laws be faithfully executed.'

Perhaps now you are seeing what idiots are running the country. Congress won't go against what obama wants. Sure they talk up until the 11th hour. Then congress caves into obamas demands. Why people keep keep voting these idiots in is beyond me. obama keeps giving the money away and congress keeps approving it. Wait it is going to get a lot worse. A lot worse.

MikeDavis...Do you understand the difference between a debt and future spending?

We cannot just not pay our bills. Well we can, and we can get our credit rating reduced once again (first time in our history..thanks TEA) Do you have any idea what it could do to the markets? to our economy? Just as we are starting to come out of the deep hole we were pushed into..some insist that we go back down.

Gosh I wised they made every congress person take basic economics 101. They just dont seem to get it.
