Mr. Henry is right. The need for a reliable supply of fresh water is critical to commercial, industrial and residential development and the problems have become more apparent with recent problems in Fredonia. Here we are with one of the world's finest supplies of fresh water in Lake Erie and our leaders don't want to take advantage of it. It makes no sense. It's time to stop talking and start implementation of a regional water system.

The big caution here is getting in bed with Dunkirk. Their city is a mess and their govt is poorly run. They can't manage what they have why would anyone want to let them manage water for the Region?

Commentor: the City of Dunkirk would not manage it , they would be the main supplier of the Water. A regional water commission or Authority would be set up and run the district. Many things would have to be worked out to make it work. It won't happen over night.
