The village aready purchased the ballfields from the school years ago without a viable plan to maintain them. Seems only logical that they would purchase the school for some grand scheme in one board members and village clerks mind.

First, Sinclairville is in the center of the district, whereas Cassadaga is at the district's most northern end, Second, given the actual and forecasted decline in enrollment, is the village prepared to step in and spend $,$$$,$$$s to keep the facility open?
Your village is shrinking and its not going to come back to its life of yesteryear -- you guys need to accept and adapt.
