They kept their word, Im sure the urn wasn't the only thing stolen. They can still charge them for anything else they may have stolen.

But seriously, don't think they didn't scrub the fingerprints & particles off that thing before they gave it back.

"An ID specialist was sent to check for DNA and fingerprints." Nice. The original article (4/14/12) says "the victim is not interested in pressing charges against anyone in possession of the urn or anyone who turns it in...with no questions asked and no charges placed." Great way to get anonymous crime tips when you don't keep your word.
