Boces superitendents make way too much money. That's why the cost is so high,you can resign from one job,and if your politics are right,you can slide into a new job at Boces!!

We should be asking why a Dunkirk teacher reaches the top pay after only 16 years while othere districts take 20-25 years to do the same. We also need to compare our special education cost per student with the cost in the Jamestown district. In the past Dunkirk has always been excessive. As for BOCES I agree that more students need to be trained in the trades but the per student cost at BOCES can't be justified. We were betteer off with #10 school.
