Audit is indictment

Forestville has lost it's way. But all is not lost. There is excellent training available and staff/elected officials really need to participate in what is available. One is not bestowed the knowledge simply by holding the office.

I don't have a problem with the Observer's View of what is going on in Forestville. My issue with the article is that Mr. D'Agostino needs to use the proper language if he is going to be in charge of a news paper. The article says, "But because 30 residents showed up to complain in April 2010 about the incredulous pay hikes..." D'Agostino is trying to avoid "incredible" perhaps. But incredulous is an adjective reflecting the state of mind of the plural noun it modifies ("pay hikes"). Maybe D'Agostino meant to say "outrageous." The image that comes to mind is of a bunch of pay hikes sitting around a table saying, "Ha ha ha, can you believe that guy?" Some may say that I am picking on the paper. Well, yes I am. I am sick of the errors in the paper. Does anyone proof read? If you do not understand the words you are using, open a dictionary. Learn how to use the words to convey what you mean.

Well said... they are like the ostrich with it's head in the sand. Sadly they are not the only village with issues relating to integrety
