I don't think you are a loser Mr. Reuther, but you sure like to make trouble where none exists.

My grandchildren attend CVCS, they also participate in sports. They are valued, learning teamwork, accepting defeat with dignity, and success with humbleness, they learn to work hard, and the importance of good sportsmanship. The lessons they are learning are life lessons. They probably will not remember their record, but it is my hope that they will remember what is important.

If you are so dissatisfied with their program...maybe you should consider moving.

lorraine,

So residents in a district should just shut up and if they don't like something move?

I'd be curious if you feel the same way when you don't like something, I'm willing to be you don't!

It's nice to see what the priorities are at the CVCS school board meetings. The administration and discipline is horrendous at the middle and high school, but the only thing talked about at the meeting is a modified coach. Wow!! Education in America!!

when tax dollars are spent on a "qualified" coach instead of the best qualified coach, there's trouble. when a School Board sees nothing unethical about voting to hire a relative, there's trouble. when the hiring process is purposely rigged to exclude a potential best qualified coach, there's trouble. when no one stands up and says something about it, there's trouble. HaveaNiceDay is correct but no one stands up and says so. And so you have more trouble.

Its pretty sad that a board member would not recluse himself on a vote that involves hiring his own daughter, what is worst is that the whole board saw nothing unethical about it...seems to me they are CTA on the matter...A real abuse of power and a diservice to the students...

Be advised Mr. Ruether that these board members try very hard for no compensation to keep our schools running the best they can. I know Mr. Carlson, and he is the most honest person you might ever meet. If you think you can do better why dont you run for a board seat, oh yea didnt you try that already.
