I know when I was in school my class size was close to 20 kids from K all the way up to 5th grade at Cassadaga's elementary school. So my opinion, LARGE classroom sizes are fine, yes I know its a little harder to teach a large class but they did it just fine when I was there, and they do it at the High School just fine, so why not in the Elementary School. Also it will make it easier going into 6th grade because you will know everyone. Close the Elementary School in Cassadaga, and turn it into a Community Center on one side and put in Senior Independent Living on the other. As for the teachers Move them to Sinclairville or have them run after school programs for the kids and during the day they could run adult classes.

Let's not blame this on the current was in the works when John Brown was there. I do think, however, that the t's are being crossed and the i's being dotted and it's being made to look like it matters what the CV community wants. Just the usual formalities. It's a done deal! Get used to it and adjust.

The sad part of this whole thing is that the Superintendent seems to have led the charge to close this Facility. Closing a Facility to maintain a level of spending is idiotic. How about cutting your spending first to save the taxpayers?

Another bunch of idiots wasting time. It is obvious the school needs to be closed. An IQ of 2 could see this.

Public involvement might be low because their input is rarely taken into account. When they decided to move the 3rd-5th graders from Cass Elem to Sinclairville, there were many parents at the meetings opposing the move. They were told thanks for your input, but we have decided to make the move. They knew all along what they were going to do and wasted resident/parents time with a meeting.
