I thought this tax was instituted specifically to help fund cleaning up the lakes and water ways. Now the funds are being diverted for other uses. I guess when there are to many groups applying for this money, the county will just raise the tax a little higher. That will drive out the few tourists we do get. Chautauqua County is not a cheap place to visit as it is.

So do I not have to pay the tax when I stay in Dunkirk? ( since we were not named as getting any money) OR maybe the tax is not charged in Dunkirk!!!!!
