Perhaps the Cable TV Advisory Board would do well to find out why there are so few people who have the desire to work with Dunkirk's Public Access station. Other communities with fewer citizens do not seem to have as many problems finding volunteers. Could it possibly be the way that Dunkirk's Public Access station is managed that turns people off?

@DKexpat if you search articles written in the past on this subject, you'll find that they already tried asking for help from the TV Communications Departartment w/o any success. Also working somewhat with the high school. I'm with you though it would seem that those studying the field certainly would be interested but guess not. Also read the husband of the City's Councilwoman-At-Large is strongly involved in that department....and you would think there would be some strong involvement but I guess its another teacher floating until tenure.

Why not get the college involved? There's probably any number of students who'd volunteer?

We need a good local news channel. Just short news stories of local interest with no spin. We also need a way to get the people of the county interested in local government. This would be a great public service.
