Fire damages home next to city fire headquarters

Firefighters did not have to travel far to extinguish a fire Tuesday evening in the city. Dunkirk Fire Department was called to a fire right next door to its headquarters....

Here is a house fire...pretty good one too...and the people have to tell the fire department...right next to the fire....hey, my house is on fire. FD mustta thought it was supper they smelled!!!

And exactly what happens to all the people who don't have credit cards? Especially the disabled & the elderly? Let them croak cuz they"d have no way to get in touch with 911? Just when I thought I'd heard it all--here comes another whopper of a jaw dropping shake my head what will they think of next running through my mind.

When are we going to smarten up and start charging people for fire and police calls? "Hello, this is 9-1-1, credit card number please. What, no credit card? Sorry, no service!!!" This obviously won't apply to the job creators, so this idea should be easy enough to enact as the law of the land.
