I am more conservative than Ms. Schwab and oftentimes don’t agree what she writes, but I enjoy reading her point of view. (And I think there was a bit of whimsy in this piece – who doesn’t love his/her pet?)

What's disturbing is this: How do personal attacks encourage civility, discourse, tolerance, greater understanding, and make this world a better place?

“Nothing dies so hard, or rallies so often, as intolerance.” - - Henry Ward Beecher

Seriously, woman, get over yourself. Typical third-rate drivel from an FSU student/grad. I've got a news flash for FSU students, and collegians in general - you're not saving the world, your problems are by in large insignificant, and you haven't a clue about what's really important in real life. Give it 5 or 10 years, and you yourself will see how asinine it was to place the kind of importance on things you do today.

Placing a cat that high on life's totem pole when it comes to choosing a mate? Hogwash. Here's some advice - ramain single, you'll be doing men a favor. You aren't complicated, your life probably revolves around your cat, Facebook, and thinking you're important. Grow up.

Yes Dc, you do have a much better understanding of the female perspective than any man I know. That is readily apparent to any male that reads your comments.

If any sociologist, psychologist or anthropologist ever wants to understand why there are so many divorces initiated by women, or why so many heterosexual women admitted they simply have no need for a man, all they need do is look below this comment, and read three prime examples of stools masquerading as male specimens.

There is nothing complicated about you Sarah, you are the typical American woman of today. You want your cake and to eat it too. Back in the day we called those ladies crazy B's. Now, it's just the norm.

sarah, i wouold not call you a complicated women. From books and experience, you are a normal everyday woman trying to cope with the flood of emotions that fill your mind. Killing babies and loving animals are the proof.Saying you are complicated is a psychological coping mechanism, designed to make women feel better about their place in the world.
