April 26, 2013

The most vicious of terrorist leaders are those who eschew violent acts themselves — there could be danger involved — but brainwash others into carrying out attacks....

Oh I agree that those who promote fear and hate should be held accountable for what they preach. You do not know whose ears the hate and fear will fall into. This person described in the editorial clearly must be found and thoroughly investigated. I have NO doubt that they are already doing that.

What about all the others that promote fear and hate? Like the minister I heard on TV while we were on vacation in Mississippi who came out and said that President Obama, along with Pope Francis, were the anti-Christs. Or the group that puts out so called 'wanted' posters of doctors who perform abortions. The posters show the doctor's face and many times the address and directions to their home. (one such poster was made before Dr. Tiller was murdered)

We have freedom of speech that I would not like to see infringed upon. Yet, when so many use their status on the radio or tv to primarily promote fear and hate with made up nonsense it makes me wonder what can or should we do?

The Right Wing routinely preaches hate!! The number of racist pictures flying around the internet is beyond belief, and the most radical of the Christian right sounds a lot like the KKK on more than a few occasions. Funny what some people call "hate speech".

The libs confuse speech and hate as usual. The left never speaks hate, right judeye and christopher, bush is hitler, nra wants to kill people, etc. Libs you are so pathetic. The boston bombers were liberal achievments. They hated america and collected welfare .Christopher and judeye have to say what they do as their mighty govt goofed up this attack bigtime.hey libs, you could mandate smoking because it saved one life. If that boat owner had not gone out for a smoke, our bunglers in blue would have missed their man. smoking saved one life, mandate it.dont forget the hundreds of rounds fired, right christopher ?, and the suspect survives. say, when wil the libs stop demonizing llaw abiding gun owners.Liberals are besdies themselves on this, they wished dearly for a right winger gun nut and it was not to be. go loberals.

You are in love judeye. Hey judeye, you remind me of women demonstarting outside of limbaughs station saying he was meanspirited. Those gals and their logic. Christopher and judeye, what if we dont want to think and say like you want us too ? Arrest us ?

Look, yet another RW-GOP boogeyman: the nefarious Misha, evil brainwashing manipulator.

Misha, the evil mastermind behind Timothy McVeigh, abortion clinic bombers and death-threateners, the Aurora shootings, Newtown massacre...oh, will no one spare us this nightmare????

Quick, quick citizens! Go buy some more guns just so Misha will think twice before manipulating some more American citizens to commit murder against one another...

Did the right wing conjure up misha, no it is from our own govt. please dc try and think . So dc, your beloved men in blue goofed up nicely here. all that ammo, lock down of the city, etc and the guy almost got away. So please tell us how your govt is working .How is the right responsible for the recent shootings ? Only in your mind dc. Come on dc, you have posted nonsense. what have you got against guns, there are several hundred million of them and little violence compared to their numbers. Do the math dc. You are demonizing the legal gun owner and the 2nd amendmeet. thats all libs do.

Well Dc please explain your hero's meeting with the Saudi representative. The one where the relative of the high ranking terrorist was detained and questioned about the bombing. And then was turned loose, but subsequently deported as a "matter of national security". That doesn't smell a little funny to a party line drone like you at all, right? And I now look forward to your third grade retort....

We keep putting out the samll fires while ignoring the inferno that is at the root of the problem. The problems in the middle east have to be resolved or the hatred and terrorism will go on forever.

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey -- I'll explain the Saudi situation when you can explain Dubya's and Cheney's shipping the Bin Laden family out of the US right after 9/11...and as far as 3rd grade retort, why, I wouldn't dream of competing against you for that honor...

Abomination-Nah they just forgot about people like Jeremiah Wright,Bill Ayers,Louis Farrakhan, the Black Panthers etc etc. Just innocent oversight I'm sure?

I'm curious at use of the term "brain washed". The last I knew, brainwashing was a form of torture, and much was made of it during the Korean War, and accusations thrown at experiments by the Communist Chinese and Soviets during the height of the Cold War. I'd have to disagree at it's use for what really boils down to conversation, plain and simple. I'm assuming that if any radical were to start talking to any citizen this means that this citizen will adopt his dogma? In my opinion, that only works with the Tea Party types. :)

DC, so either of those situations are OK. Does political affiliation matter more to you than the country does? If it does than I understand your writings. Not saying what this was radical islamist terrorism has become the problem.

Joew, Farrakhan is certainly not a left wing person, he's a hate spewing radical Muslim who also happens to hate most white people, especially Jews, Wright is just one of many hate spewing Evangelical Christians of which the Right Wing has dozens of, and the Black panthers are like so yesterday, it's not funny. Couldn't you come up with anything less than a decade old or that actually makes your point? Ayers was a radical during the 60's. The right wing hate spewing individuals are NOW, not yesterday's news. I might add that none of your examples had their own News on TV, unlike the right wing haters.

1laona,you seem to forget that George W Bush proposed much the same thing for illegal aliens during his first term in office. By the way, I dislike and disagree with Chuck Schumer and McCain about equally on just about everything. But then that's because I'm capable of independent thought, not just party line parroting.

Dc, only you would think of it as an honor. It's really easy to explain why the Bin Laden family was allowed to leave the country on 9/11. The whole family is in business with the Bush family. I can't understand why the media didn't jump all over that little tidbit of information. But now we have a democrat president doing the same type of end run on the press. Why is this not questioned?

Abomination, I don't care for Obama much, so here's my take on you; "Don't agree with every single bit of what the right wing spews=Brainwashed." That about cover your world view? And Obama has a TON of faults, but RADICAL!!!? Please...

Of course Obama isn't a radical so why did he appoint one, also an avowed commie, to his inner circle of Czars?

Christopher: For someone with such an independent view, you seem to have taken a very one-sided stance in all your posts on here. My cure towards you truly becoming independent is to sit up straight in in your chair instead of slouching to the left.
