Danny that's what makes you different from the rest. You possess integrity and a will to get things done. If there were more people like you in the city we would not be in the situation we (city) are in. It's all about he money Danny and how you can get the most money for the least amount of work.

santora that being the case he can always step down! Many volunteers are asked to serve in many positions that still does not justify pay!

@concerned-- As I read it the guy is stating his position saying he is NOT a volunteer and is trying to explain that he was asked to serve and feels there is a difference.

Mr. McGill, I find your rebuttal to the stipend issue to be shallow at best. The truth is the layers of excessive government is sucking the blood out of its host, AKA, the taxpayer. You seem to think that just because something has been done for 45 years it makes it OK. That's the problem. Most of the back breaking government programs go back at least this far. Over the years, these programs have grown to gigantic proportion. The overall compensation in the public sector is far greater than in the private sector, especially in this area. The stipend is another slap in the face to the people who pay for your generous salaries and benefits. I pose the ultimate question, what is your plan when you run out of other peoples money. People are moving in droves because of the looting done by government in the form of taxation. This in not a friendly environment. Ask any business man.

With both performance and ethical measures, the clueless church lady gaggle OBSERVER board has consistently shown neither an interest nor any substantiation with research-driven, fact-based, fact-checked solid analytical basis for any of their editorials, assessments and opinions. To them, "complexity" is knee-jerk ivory-tower liberalism, something to be mocked, ignored or is categorically radio-active.

Day after day, theirs has been strictly a modus operandi of innuendo, gossip, ideological drivel and borderline online plagiarism.

As such, they ought to be ashamed to be as thoroughly schooled in "telling the story" to the community as you have so convincing done.
