I agree..this is stupid and I hate the fact that tax payer money is going to be used to prosecute people who are not hurting anyone.

New York State needs to follow the leaders in California and Washington and other places and legalize it, regulate it and tax it. California is bringing in hundreds of millions in taxes each year.

In Pennsylvania, the Governor is seeking to eliminate the PA Liqour Authority (calling it a costly runover from the era of prohibition) and it's State ED department. Instead of the State paying to administer ED policies, they are seeking to give more control over to the counties. FYI, I live in NYS and I refuse to send my kids to the public schools. They are home schooled by a professional tutor. My point is New York State is stuck in the 1920's when it comes to its govt bureaucracy.

Another day, another bust. Busted for growing a God-given plant because hey, they aren't going to be giving $MM's in kickbacks to the feds to intoxicate the people (Busch, Coors, Miller).

Meanwhile, we can't profile non-citizens at the borders, or the ACLU will be all over it as discrimination. But a mom and pop pot operation in Boondocks, NY is fair game.

What's wrong with this picture?
