CASSADAGA — On Tuesday at about 3:15 p.m., a motorist hit a fire hydrant on Dale Drive, knocked it off its base, and then left the scene of the accident....

Well the kid has learned his lesson from previous drunk drivers. After an accident, always leave the scene, even (especially) if you've gravely injured someone. NEVER stick around to claim responsibility for your actions. It's the American way.
