Our senators would need a GPS to find the Williams Center. Don't worry - they will find us before the next election and that would be a good time to remind them of their failure to support our cause.

Schumer and Gillibrand are just towing the company line. The tree huggers want the power plant shut down and tree huggers vote mostly democratic. It's about getting re-elected, not what's best for the residents of Chautauqua County. It's a joke

Steiner, the depression started under Hoover, a republican. Pick up a textbook once in a while.

The truth of the matter is that both NY senators represent the entire state -- not just the <1% of NYers which is this county -- and their staffs, doing the due diligence of researching all angles, have determined that NRG and Cayuga just may not be in the best interests of NYS and all NYers they represent.

Ans Steinerdzzz...they you go again -- when you are too lazy to look up the facts, you rant to the point of spittle on your lips...if libs were afraid of tech, then why do Silicon Valley firms, corporations and leaders throw virtually all their support to Democrats and Liberals? Isn't Silicon Valley right next door to SanFran, one of the most liberal cities in the US? Why are tech firms some of the most liberal progressive companies on earth?

You're a lazy dope. And so is the clown that agrees with you.

Mr editor, thats what democrats do ! save the planet, fight hunger, all nonsense things. But the stimulus sure did work, we have more people on food assistance than ever. It is the libs way of ending income inequality. They make everyone poorer. Like in the great, fun, liberal depression of the 30's.My now deceased relatives used to say how poor everyone was. The libs prove to us over an do over they cannot think in a sane fashion. thats why they attract such a large following. Dont forget too that the repowering is dependent upon fracked gas. That in a liberals mind is a planet killer. Libs are afraid of tech things. they are luddites.
