That would be comparing apples and oranges Thomas....just because one land owner chooses to treat his land in a certain fashion does NOT mean that all forest management practices yield the same results. Will you also be taking Steiner to a well managed plot that has been logged according to a written plan to see how good it can look?

Dear Mr. Steiner, We look forward to meeting with you soon. Let's go for a walk at the lodge so you can see how special it is. We can then go just down the road and visit the plot of land they logged last year and do a little compare and contrast.

We got a live one in Prof titus. Imagine using a forest as a crop ? who ever heard of such a thing ? It must be part of a vast right wing conspiracy, corporate greed, disregard for the environment or whatever, or even foxnews ! Let nature take its course ? then cutting would be the norm.Is not it fun to watch adults waste so much time over such nonsense ? Hey Prof, would the end of the world occur earlier if we logged ? Disturb the ecosystem ? thats a good one, a catch all expresion if ever there was one. Take the proceeds from the sale of the logs and apply them to womens health care choices. Show that you care .
