The cars weren’t the only ones hitting hard Tuesday night — some drivers ended up hitting other drivers at the Chautauqua County Fair Demolition Derby....

And what's with the rides? They're small, and dinky. I've noticed that merchants are starting to have the same merchandise.

First and foremost I am in no way knocking any drivers of the Demo. They spend lots of time and money to build thier cars for the show. What I ask though, was this one of the worst Demo's ever?? Five heats, three small car and two big car. Like seven cars in the big car heats, ten or twelve in the small car. Is it the economy? Are there no cars? No ambition? Is the fair driving the drivers away? I thought it was sad. Probably reflects just the way the rest of this community has become, sad. I want better. I know no other home. I want the community we knew before back. People with drive and energy. Not looking for handouts. When can we turns things around to make it better.

Hopefully they get someone else to sing the National Anthem. My ears are still bleeding.
