This District just shut down a School building, laid off a bunch of employees to "consolidate and save" and now they give out raises? LOL. What a joke.

Not a one of these salary increases are a union position...almost a half a mil just for the business office? I would guess that even all the SRP positions and even the teacher positions eliminated probably don't cover the wages in the business office!

They're simply taking the $$$ while they can! Can you blame them? In a case like this, the BOE is directly responsible.

The thing that bothers me most about public pay raises is that "controllable" costs are being ignored, while both the beneficiaries (public employees) AND the elected boards who approve such raises refuse to accept any blame for the damage they're causing to their own communities.

Interesting how the president of the school board was/is best buds with Phil. They grew up together.

What is the job description for Technology Coordinator?

Hmmm...in Denver Co the salary is only $45,000

Phil and Carl are both good people, but my God!!! Is Cassadaga paying way more then they should or what?

With all due respect, Phil is the technology guy. Which means he is the only person in the building that handles ALL of the technology issues that arise. Of all the people in this article his salary is more justified than any of the others. $51,000 for a SECRETARY!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

Just like Buffalo, you must pay for what you get !!! Whooos, Buffalo Schools are in danger of being taken over by the State. Of course I doubt the State will do any better.. Lets get real, a big salary does not always get the best..

what about shared services?? Do we really need all these positions to be full time at one school?? Split these up between 2 schools. What joke, some of these people make more than the teachers.
