Well, the Home has the same exact rating as the facilities that this guy owns. What's the problem? Let this guy continue to operate this place at sub-par performance. At the very least, it won't get any worse.

Can I at least have the gas well? Given what surrouding wells have produced over the years, it's a "cash cow" just sitting there.

Mr. Edwards, you listening?

You people can all relax. They will never vote to sell and if Horrigan wins the election he won't even pursue the sale so it will become a dead issue.

Can't we just release his 1.65 million and continue to look into this bid? If he really wants it won't he wait another month? Anyone who can buy three nursing homes in 1 year is getting his money from somewhere. Is the xray business that good or is there a back door deal? He sells equipment to nursing homes for a living and now all of a sudden he is buying them. Is this just smoke and mirrors so he can get his newest Amendment to the Administrative Code with no problem?

Why would Croscut have to ask if there were more offers? Is this not something that should have been readily shared with ALL legislators at the same time? Something called transparency.

Privatize more services? Does he realize that social services has tried this..and it did not bring about the success that they desired, resulting in the contract canceled? People and their needs cannot be run just like a business. To think that they can is not only callous and immoral, it just does not get the desired results.

As for when all of the legislators were told about the sale, I do not know. I do know when we the public were told, and it came as a many of us. Once again we are being told it is urgent. A decision must be made immediately or this offer will be taken away? A push to make such an important decision, with such little time to organize and gather facts, to me suggests an agenda. One that is not favorable to the residents of this county.
