Mr. Reed said he is a great supporter of $3.2 billion annually in aid to Israel. How can this be justified when our country is $16 trillion in debt? How can we justify foreign aid to any country when we are in debt up to our teeth? If that money is buying friendships, where are all those friends on the issue of Syria where we are getting little or no support?

Dcronia, an American Consulate under sustained attack for seven hours with a squadron of F-16’s less than 90 minutes flying time away is a non-issue? An American Ambassador being tortured and brutally raped is a non-issue? Four American killed is a non-issue? Allowing weapons to flow into Mexico where hundreds of Mexicans were killed is a non-issue? Weapons illegally funneled into Mexico used to kill American border patrol agents is a non-issue? The IRS specifically targeting political groups not politically friendly to the President is a non-issue? The IRS illegally releasing tax information of political candidates is a non-issue? Then Sir, what is an issue for you?

The reason why no one is hearing a thing about Benghazi, IRS scandals, or Fast & Furious is because they are non-issues -- DOA, in fact, and smart GOP leaders know they can't get anywhere with Benghazi, IRS scandals, or Fast & Furious because there is nothing there in the first place.

Its worse with illegal immigration -- the GOP is on a precipice with Latinos, the largest up-and-coming minority. If they bail on immigration, they have lost this huge voting bloc for generations. If they choose immigration, the ignorant TPers will primary them out of their jobs, select hardliners and hence, the GOP will lose the Latino vote for generations.

I expect the GOP/RW/TPers to do the right thing -- for the Democrats -- and bail on immigration reform.

Anyone notice how we're not hearing anything about Benghazi, IRS scandals, Fast & Furious, Illegal Immigration, etc since Syria came up on the radar? I mean, it's been going on for two years now but when everything was coming down on the Administration all at once, Syria is now the focus.

You have to think like a liberal. So if one stops the conflict by bombing one will stop the drought and then stop global warming in that region of the world ! No wonders obama wants to bomb syria ! He is fighting climate change. i always knew the libs were smart .

The President listens to no one. He has his own agenda. On Tuesday you will hear that we will drop one on Syria. This will accomplish nothing good. It will escalate the war and we will have boots on the ground. He should be impeached!!! He is destroying this Country!!!

hey judeye, do you actually think it was Tom Reed alone that is making Obama go on TV to explain his want for military action ? if you do, you are very naive. On TV, Obama said he wants stealth bombers from Missouri and B52s from Qatar to assist. Almost like Clinton on the 90s bombing Kosovo. Congress did not authorize that mission. Go Obama , I support you on this one. Public opinion seems to be against this, that means its the right thing to do.

The Senate will vote in favor of bombing but The House of Representatives will not - by why? The entire house of Representatives is up for re-election next year but only one-third of the Senate faces that problem. House members are concerned about public opinion - senate members are not! Public opinion only matters at election time.

Wow..President Obama listened to Rep Reed!!

President announced on Friday..from Russia..that he would address our Nation on Tuesday regarding Syria.

What is amazing is that Rep Reed would have ANY doubt that the President would surely do this.
