This is sadly typical of the media. Ignore it unless it's white on black...or we can say it's white on black. Amaziingly they are actually THINKING of adding a hate crime charge to the list this POS faces for this. Haven't done it yet, but they are thinking of it. Where's Al and Jesse holding their vigil at for this poor guy? GD hypocrites...

1. If they did a market survey they would find this area will not support that kind of transformation. 2. If you surveyed the area nursing homes, independent living facilities and assisted living facilities you would find that most are not at capacity. The County Home is 80% Medicaid because that is what this area is....poor and getting poorer.

I'm curious as to the reason for Mr Parks move to Hershey. Again we need to see the agreement/contract before making any accusations or creating fear amongst our seniors.

The writer may feel differently if he actually lived here and paid taxes here.

Thank you for putting it so well. There will be a reduction in skilled nursing beds in Chautauqua County. They can say they will provide the same service but they aren't saying if they will keep 216 skilled beds. There is no way they can do all they want and still do that. With the capacity the home always has there will be people who will have to look farther away for the care they need.
