While they don't use flamethrowers they do use backburns in areas outside the fire area to burn up the excess fuel there before the fire reaches that point, which can stop it from advancing.

Just wanted to point that out. :)

That is only the opinion of a very few, sounds like you want your cake and eat it to. When things are going the way you want them you are happy and now you turn the very tools that have been used in the past to your advantage as a weapon against the only thing the village got going for it.Speaking of a tool.....
