Sounds like the neo-cons want to use Forestville as some kind of proving grounds for their narrow mindset and "I know best" beliefs. I'm glad folks are standing up to them and holding them accountable. Too bad the Disturber and it's editor continue to use the paper to foster personal agendas.

I could not understand bkmlaws comment. But he did use name calling and other classic phrases. Get a life, the disturber etc. Riddle me this bkmlaw, if the fabulous city of detroit can shrink to a shadow of what it was , why cant forestville dissolve itself away.surely forestvile is not more famous to america than detroit. Even Pontiac, NY dissolved when the RR was put in and versailles plank, the major road was rendered less major. local resident got it right. the skill sets are not there any more. I cant wait for another 7 years or so. we will have nothing but aging, senile people left. The young will have fled to better areas.

There we go again, the disturber I mean observer, JOHN D'AGOSTINO! The mayors friend and always bashing Forestville. You always interview people and then throw what you think in so it sounds like its coming from them. That's called a coward! I lived here all my life and finally moved a little over two years ago.i read the paper and what this mayor and new board is doing makes me ill. I read these comments and you people are nuts. Retired teacher is always true and to bad who ever retired teacher is wasn't on the board. If I would of had 200 people want me out I would have left what is this woman thinking! How embarrassing. Mr D'Agostino get a life! I hope Mr Belote keeps fighting for your village, Forestville is a nice little town and all it needs is to get a new mayor and her appointees out SOON!!

Oh well. As the population decreases, so quickly does the availability of required skillsets to handle tasks such as these. with WNY being the red-headed stepchild of NY state, get used to incompetent leadership such as this. Every local government is overrun with the same problem. No fix in sight as anyone smart enough is on the first flight out of WNY.
