Judeye, carriage house left because of incentives elsewhere. You can add taxes to the list of reasons they skipped town with some of their production hardware. Not only that, but at least three new very large plants were NOT built here in the late 20th century because of a lack of tax incentives for one. 1200 jobs total not coming to WNY! poof! Thanks Mario!

Would someone name for me the companies who left this area due to the high taxes?

I can name countless of companies across our County that left or closed due to overseas competition or moving their operations overseas.

Commentor...we had to TURN AWAY people...yes including those on public assistance...from many of our training programs as we had already filled them. Most people want to work...and most on public assistance would love training and eduction if it would lead to a good paying job. I know...I worked with them for decades.

(not to say yes there are some who do not want to advance and are comfortable just collecting...but they are the vast MINORITY)

Judeye I must admit that you are entertaining. Might I ask a equally entertaining question? How will Mr Johnson rid of us of the suffocating taxes, fees, and expenses mandated from Albany?

Great idea.....too bad the people in this area would rather be on welfare than get educated and get a job.

Job creation using the many resources we have in our area.

What an excellent idea!!

Just what we need...JOBS. Paying family sustaining wages. Wow what an idea!!
