October 11, 2013

Just because the federal government is in shutdown mode, it does not mean it has to even take down the Web sites. A trip to www.census....

The story about Congress being exempt from obamercare comes from "members of Congress and their aides now must buy health insurance through Obamacare exchanges, instead of the existing government Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. In that sense, they are not “exempt” from Obamacare at all, as some Republicans charge. However, the Office of Personnel Management has ruled that the federal government can continue to pay a portion of the health-care premiums for lawmakers and their staffers" So while not exempt taxpayers are paying for a portion of the millionaires club insurance.

Also Judeye, it was not just one person that kept bringing up his association with a known terrorist, it was covered by many, many news outlets. And, frankly, this wasn't your average Joe that you meet and don't know who he is or his background. This dude was well known for his exploits. There is no chance that his past was unknown. NONE. But your staunch defense of the worst president EVER is very admirable.

And Judeye, if you're going to quote someone, at least pick a source that hasn't been proven again and again to be nothing more than a mouthpiece for the liberal agenda. You immediately lose all credibility, as if you had any, whenever you mention their name.

Judeye, I am educated and you are a joke. You still can't wake up to the fact that "moving forward" isn't always the best direction, especially if you're standing on the edge of a cliff. You frankly have no facts to support your arguments, your theories are worthless drivel that have been proven again and again not to work, especially when it comes to the economy. And as for "hate", I think it is you and your type that are the true bigots. Everything you say basically indicates that this president should be held to a lower standard because of "his appearance", as you put it. Frankly, everything he believes and all his positions are opposite of what is best for this country. I'd wish that you get what you ask for, but unfortunately that means the rest of us have to suffer for it. Tell me, how does it feel to be the biggest cheerleader for the president who will go down in history as being the absolute worst? It takes real skills to replace Carter, but

"Vitter Amendment would work is that House members, senators, the president, the vice president, and Cabinet officers would all lose their employer-provided health insurance. Then they would be told to go buy health insurance on the Affordable Care Act exchanges. And the government would not be allowed to use the money it saves by no longer providing the insurance to raise salaries or to subsidize exchange purchases" And the dems refused to accept this.

American...Congress is exempt from Obamacare.

PolitiFact

"Claim Congress is exempt from Obamacare. False.

Even a few sitting lawmakers have repeated this claim, but it’s not true. Congress is not exempt from Obamacare. Like everyone else, lawmakers are required to have health insurance. They’re also required to buy insurance through the marketplaces. The idea is to have lawmakers and their staff buy insurance the same way their uninsured constituents would so they understand what their constituents have to deal with. Most Americans who already get insurance through work are left alone under the law; members of Congress have insurance through work but are treated differently in this regard. Recently, a rule was added so that lawmakers’ could keep the traditional employer contribution to their coverage. But they weren’t exempt from requirements that other Americans face. We rated this claim False."

badnewsbear..and are you aware that the person who kept bringing up the known "terrorist" (who did his acts when Obama was a baby..and had since become a leading expert in Education in our Country)...she was found GUILTY...yes guilty...of betraying the trust of the people of Alaska. And her HUSBAND advocated that Alaska leave the USA.

You Never answered if you sit on any Boards and if you do, have you asked each member of their past?

badnewsbear..well you sure do not seem very educated to me...

If you were you would have realized of course we are being transformed and that is a good thing. It is called moving forward into the future. I have seen major transformation of my Country over the decades. From civil rights for ALL, technological changes, to changes in our definition of free speech to include corporations.

Fast pedal all you want...you cannot justify your hateful statements regarding our President..from day one.

Good grief..do you not realize the CRISIS he walked into on Day One? And you say you have a degree in economics?????

Business Insider "President Barack Obama's promise that "if you like your health plan, you can keep your health care plan" isn't proving true. Here are some groups of people who aren't getting to keep their existing plans:Many people with existing individual-market coverage are getting notices that their plans are canceled effective December 31, often because their plans do not meet essential coverage requirements under the ACA;Though there does not appear to be a sea change in employer practices, some employers are dropping coverage for dependents, retirees and certain employees , with the expectation that they will instead get covered through the exchanges or other sources; and Starting in 2o18, employers (especially public employers) will be pushed to slim down gold-plated health plans to avoid getting hit with the "Cadillac tax" on high-cost plans." "Big business is exempt from Obamacare. Congress is exempt from Obamacare. And now, Pres. Obama and his family are exempt, as well.

Pres. Obama told Congress last week that he would veto any debt-ceiling bill that included the Vitter amendment.

The Vitter amendment forces executive branch officials, including the president and vice president to apply for healthcare through the Affordable Care Act.

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) offered the Republican-supported amendment that would force the president to “eat the food he cooked” and “sleep in the bed he made.”

“This is really about fairness, making sure that Washington is forced to live under the same train wreck of Obamacare that is forced on the rest of America,” Vitter said." Sound about right for the special ed. in charge.

badnewsbear, when they have nothing else in their arsenal, they always pull the race card. They even use it when Ben Carson, Alan West, Condi, Tim Scott and a host of other Black Conservatives criticize the presidents’ policies. We have to realize that by them pulling the race card, they’re actually saying Obama’s policies are a failure because of his race. It’s the Progressives who believe this and therefore want to project it upon others who don’t believe like them. You’ll see that here all the time whenever they can no longer defend his policies.

The Progressives have taken over the Democrat party. Read up some history on the Progressives in America and their beliefs. Also, check out how the Progressives acted in the Korean War POW Camps and how they collaborated with the Communists against their fellow prisoners.

Judeye, I swear, you prove your "thickness" with every post. I've already answered this. I'm educated. I listened to all of his campaign promises and can fully understand what his direction and intentions will be. He promised a "fundamental transformation" of the country. For the ignorant, like you, this is NOT a good thing. This tarnishes our image. During the campaign, it was brought to light that a known associate was a domestic terrorist. This tarnishes our image. Promises to basically apologize to the world for all of our "sins" tarnishes our image. He started tarnishing our image as a Senator. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that when raised to a higher office, those positions are expanded. Once again, I knew all I needed to know based on his policies, not his appearance. Only complete imbeciles race-bait, Judeye. Again, I could replace him with many black men, or women, who could restore our standing in the world.

badnewsbear...'our country's reputation was tarnished the minute this sorry ******excuse of a president took office.'

Explain this then. The minute he took office. So on what did you base that if it was the minute he took office..so he had not implemented even one policy..had not nominated one judge or cabinet member...what had he done..one minute into office?

If not on what he looked like...what do you base your total lack of respect, your total bashing, insults...from THE MINUTE HE TOOK OFFICE.

How do you make judgements on someone who has not done anything yet if not based on their appearance? Their "vibes" Or are you just a sore loser who does not like anyone who you did not support in an election?

Cant wait to hear your answer...

You really are thick. You stop at $14T, which is OLD NEWS!! If you use up to date info, which is that we just crossed $17T, you'd find a completely different picture. Do you ever READ anything completely? I mean, c'mon, get with the program. Your numbers were incomplete to make your point. Typical, a Lib cannot use all the data or their argument evaporates.

"Reagan..tripled....Bush Sr 48%...Clinton 44%...Bush Jr 90%...Obama...26%" Really, Judeye, do you have any idea what the heck you are talking about? First off, how does an increase get attributed to Bush AFTER he leaves office (2009)? Secondly, you're using old numbers, we're now over $17T and will be well over $20T by the time he leaves office. Therefore, his increase will likely be more than 100%. Not to mention, it is the actual total dollars that really are the issue, not a percentage. Bush raised it further than all previous President's combined. Obama will have raised it more than all President's before him combined, INCLDING BUSH!!. Facts, Judeye, facts...not cherry picked figures to suit your position.

Judeye, how dare you stoop to the race card. That just shows your ignorance. Those of us who are educated, understand the issues and ramifications of his proposed policies don't actually have to wait until they're implemented to take issue with them. Get yourself educated and grow up so you can truly address the issues. In fact, if you're useless President would resign, as he should, I'll immediately provide you with a list of black men that I would nominate to take his place. You truly are the lowest of the low to actually stoop to race instead of dealing with real issues. How dare you!

Judeye, are you one of the low information voters? Because Cruz has low poll numbers and people are blaming someone who only could talk instead of actually acting like Harry Reid, that makes him responsible. Actually his poll numbers don't mean anything. All that matters for him is Texas. I can guarantee you Chuck Schumner doesn't have high poll numbers in Texas, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, and a handful of states that are growing economically.
