October 20, 2013

By KEN CLEMENT It seems to me Legislator Lori Cornell, who was once vocal about not wanting to sell the County Home, has become silent on the issue since she decided to run for county cler....

I totally agree with Mr. Clement's observations and comments. What campiagn event was so important that she had to miss the special meeting? She is an elected official and she needs to represent the Jamestown residents (I am one) instead of training for the LucyTown 5K or whatever she was doing.

Marcia, I agree with you on your comment. John Boehmer, he is a joke too.

Good point. What exactly is her position though Captain? Do we know? She'll vote to sell AFTER the election - so who is she pandering to? And notalways, where do you get Barmore has his employees cover? How about Cornell will be out kissing babies and shaking hands while the employees do ALL the work. Is that what you want if she wins the election? Your comment is ridiculous. I want to know where every legislator stands on this issue. They are still being paid to be legislators.

I agree with Ms Cornell's position on not wanting to sell the CCH, but I must admit, Mr Clement raises valid points.

I guess no one told her there is no crying in politics. She is NOT qualified for the position and will not be getting my vote. However, I do not like Mr. Barmore either!! Once again no choice. Maybe I'll just stay home and not vote.

All Cornell did was cry and cry when the home came up for sale. What adult can't control themselves. Crying doesn't help. She is and has always been a politician. She doesn't know what a real job is.

When she talks for the county home everyone complains. If she doesn't, you still complain. Just because she was unable to attend a meeting does not mean she did not spend time getting information. I would imagine that Mr. Barmores employees have to cover for him while he does other things. Is that what the county employees will have to do if he wins the election?
