In the end, the decision to use those funds toward keeping the lights on actually helped people keep their jobs for four years. Management did the right thing.

Steinerdzzz...public schools are public services funded 100% by tax dollars. LakeShore was a private, for-profit firm. The two are not even in the same league, so your logic attempt (and I say that as there are no other words to describe your mental processes...) at arguing LakeShore was liberal largess...?

Baffling, if it wasn't so Steinerdzzz-Bizzarro...

cronig and his gaggle again. All newspapers are losing subscribers. Why do you single out the observer and call them the same name over and over. Are you mentally ill ? hey cronig, think of the hospital as sort of a liberal largess, like your beloved public schools. More and more money down the rat hole, but you are silent on that. Whatts a matter, the libs in charge of schools are not clueless church lady gagglers ? Cronig you gotta do better, try thinking !

The injection of the 2009 funds would not have kept the hospital open and saved those jobs -- esp if the funds were used, as reported, to keep the place running. Clearly, then it was a matter of time before the 2009 funds ran out, and the operational/managerial issued resurfaced. The 2009 funds were a temporary bandaid and not a turnaround strategy.

But this gaggle OBSERVER with the megamind MBAs on their staff know better...they're not running a losing operations of decreasing subscribers...

we are going to think like a liberal, like cronig would. A massive tax increase on Lake shore hospital ought to push them back in prosperity. every liberal would agree that taxes make one prosperous, so using cronig logic, the majority rules, a huge increase in taxes is what lake shore hospital needs.prosperity is right around the corner !
