If the bleeding hearts would work on cleansing the system of the frauds who are milking the system dry the seniors and others who truly need it would have a better chance of getting help without feeling guilty. But as usual judeye does not even mention those who are being dishonest!

Judeye-"so many in this area see it as only for the lazy folks who just want a hand out"! Why is it you must resort to distorting(twisting)what people say Judeye? Is that the only way you can get attention?

Dr. Spanos: would you agree that ppl either have a sense of responsibility and compassion for seniors or they don't?

Chat Co residents and the CCLeg have already sent a loud msg regarding how they feel about seniors here in Chat Co, and that msg clearly doesn't bode well with your plea.

I presume your commitment to seniors would prevent you from supporting the sale of the county home, yet I don't recall you publicly opposing it. Hmm, could it have been due to a fear of possible retribution had you done so?

Urging seniors to apply for SNAP when so many in this area see it as only for the lazy folks who just want a hand out!

They ignore the fact that 92% of SNAP goes to seniors, disabled, veterans and people who are working.

On one hand telling seniors that there are programs that can help them with their food bills. Yet, if they get this assistance, set them up to be called names and insulted for being in need.

Hungry if you don't...lazy good for nothing if you do.
