Mr. Crane, I've advocated for that on multiple occasions right here in these comment sections. Regardless of the watered-down NRG deal having been agreed to over the weekend, until NYS permits fracking and the SAFE act are repealed, we should push for secession into PA. Catt/Allegany counties want it as well.

There are so many benefits to secession, besides guns and gas. That other gas - petroleum - is cheaper. State income taxes are less than 50% of NY's for most middle-class families. No clothing tax. Less welfare money and more stringent standards to receive it. And most importantly, the ability to be joined with a like-minded state government that would represent all of it's people and not just those within a 20 mile radius of a certain city.
