NEW YORK (AP) — The NYPD is looking for a suspect who struck another man over the head with a brick during an attempted robbery in Manhattan.
Police say the 37-year-old victim was leaving a nightclub on Saturday in midtown Manhattan when the attack occurred.
He was walking along West 58th Street near 11th Avenue when the suspect approached him from behind and struck him over the head.
The suspect rifled through the victim's pockets but didn't find anything.
The victim was transported to a hospital where he's listed in stable condition.
Police released a grainy photograph of the suspect. They ask anyone who witnessed the attack to call Crime Stoppers hot line at 800-577-TIPS.
