ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — More farms in New York are connected to the Internet.
The National Agricultural Statistics Service says 69 percent of New York farms had internet access, up from 66 percent in 2011. That's slightly above the national rate.
However, 39 percent used computers for farm business, down from 42 percent two years ago.
About a third of the farms connect to the Internet with cable, with DSL the second most popular way to connect.
